This lucky gourd teapot is made from Taiwanese clay and is considered auspicious. The colour of this teapot comes when from the reaction of the minerals in the clay when it is fired in the kiln and looks fantastic for any tea lover. Comes in a gift box.

There are two colour options for this this teapot is Fired Brick or Ornamental Brown.

The teapot holds about 180 mL - perfect for one or for a small ceremony using our optional mini-teacups

This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong's small teapot factory in Yingge, Taiwan. Yingge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.
