Feeling groovy? Our Psychedelic teapot will take you on a magical mystery tour of your daydreams.
Each of our psychedelic teapots are one-of-kind because they are made with different mixtures of Taiwanese clay. Sometimes we can’t even remember which clays we put into them because, well, never mind. All of this experimentation results in varying surface and colour patterns that remind us of Saturn's clouds, or a far-out waking dream that one might have had during a ‘spiritual' journey during the 1960s. We don't judge and don't worry, we won't call the fuzz on you as you enjoy sipping your righteous herbal remedies (camellia sinensis) out of this teapot.
The teapot holds about 280 mL - perfect for one, but don't be greedy, pass it around and share some with your friends in our optional mini-teacups. The teapot comes in a very non-psychedelic gift-box, but that's just so nobody gets wise about what's going on inside. You also can add a hand-tied ribbon to the lid which is highly recommended as it's kind of like a tea friendship bracelet, and hey man, who doesn't want to have one of those? All we know we never ever want to be searching for your lid when you need it because that would be kind of a (tea) buzz kill. Peace.
This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong's small teapot factory in Yingge, Taiwan. Yingge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.
