Kaoliang Liquor - A naturally alcohol-free Bao Zhong (Paochong) tea with kaoliang liquor notes
Historically, Bao Zhong / Pouchong tea was named after the way the tea was wrapped in paper. This tea was grown at an elevation between 300-600m. The handpicked leaves have a twisted shape and are lightly oxidised.
Can be served hot or cold, a good substitute for alcohol.
ORIGIN
This tea comes from from a cooperative in Pinglin, in the north of Taiwan at an elevation of around 300-600m.
TEA BREWING GUIDE
95°C, 1 Tea Tent / Tea Bag per cup, 3 min. Several infusions.
Can be cold brewed in water overnight.
