• Our Tie Guan Yin goes through a particular type of tea processing which gives the tea a bold and pleasant baked flavour. A rich caramelised liquor.

ORIGIN

This tea comes from one of the growers we work with in Muzha, Northern Taiwan. The garden is located at around 300-600 m elevation.

CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING

This tea comes from the tie guan yin cultivar. The leaves were handpicked, and the teamaker decided to extend the rolling process of this tea, leading to small tightly rolled pearls. The tea undergoes roasting during processing. The resulting pearls have a beautiful colour palette ranging from sage, yellow and pale green and have hints of roasting aroma.
