ORIGIN
This whole leaf oolong tea is named after one of our farming neighbours and friends, who uses a battery-operated drone to monitor the growth of his tea plants! Uncle Lin, who manages our family tea farm likes to go over to his house to eat dumplings (he would probably invite you over too), since he lives and grows his tea in the neighbouring village of Chishui.
CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING
This whole leaf oolong tea is from our neighbour and friend. A warm, welcoming and kind man with glasses and a big wooden desk, serves his tea with pride: He uses the township’s traditional farming approaches and has grown and produced an organically grown tea. For a small farmer this was big, but he proudly showed us the SGS (regulatory) reports. We named this tea after the methodical scientific rigour used by our neighbour which includes using a battery-operated drone to monitor the growth of his tea plants!
