What Is Assam Tea Powder?

How to Use Assam Tea Powder

Hot Tea:
Dissolve 1-2g in 300ml hot water. Add sweetener if desired.

Assam Milk Tea / Hong Kong Style Milk Tea:
Dissolve 1-2g in 250ml hot water. Allow to cool. Combine with 50ml ice, 4 tsp condensed milk, and 3 tsp honey (optional) in a shaker. Mix well and serve.

Assam Latte:
Whisk 1-2g powder with 10-20ml hot water until smooth. Add 250ml warm or frothed milk (dairy or plant-based). Sweeten to taste. Dust with extra tea powder or chocolate powder to finish. For an iced version, add 20ml ice to the mixture.

Iced Tea:
Dissolve 1-2g in 10-20ml warm water. Top with 280ml cold water and ice. Add a dash of milk and sweetener if desired.

Baking & Desserts:
Mix into pancake batter, cookie dough, cake mix, or brownie batter. Whip into buttercream frosting or fold into ice cream bases for a bold black tea flavour.

Toppings:
Dust over pastries, cakes, yoghurt, or ice cream for an instant Assam flavour and colour.
