Each of the three oolong tea options - Four Seasons, Chin Shin, Jin Xuan (Milk Oolong) are famous tea cultivars developed in Taiwan by the Tea Research and Extension Station. This research organisation is a world leader in developing new types of tea and processing methods. Each of single-origin have been grown and handpicked by Taiwanese tea cooperatives.
CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING
The teas have been been handpicked and been processed using traditional Taiwanese methods for rolled pearls oolong tea. Using a Marulin tea roasting oven in London, we will roast this tea to your specifications. The tea will be gently stirred in a bamboo basket during the roasting process to preserve the shape of the handpicked rolled pearl dry leaf. You have the choice of:
TEA BREWING GUIDE
90-95°C, 3g per 200ml cup, 3-6 min. We recommend when you first try your tea, taste it with a spoon every minute so you can determine the optimal brewing time. We note that darker roasted tea normally takes longer to brew as the tea leaves take more time to open up.These teas may be infused several times - you may use shorter brew times after the first brew.
