Tea Aged in a Pomelo (handmade) + 30g of Loose Leaf Pomelo Tea
Luye Township holds a special place in our hearts. Our tea inspector, Reeves the Muntjac loves visiting his tea-loving deer cousins in this town (named after a famous Taiwanese deer).
More importantly, one of our tea farming friends in Luye makes a very special (and very limited quantity) of tea aged in a pomelo.
The pomelo fruit is hand-stuffed with Chin Shin oolong tea and wrapped in a beautiful ornamental ribbon. The pomelo is aged and dried in a clay storage vessel for 2 years away from light and air. The result is a beautiful pomelo, that is not only a conversation piece but can be tasted as well.
However, we know you that given the conversations you can have about you pomelo and its beauty, you probably wouldn't want to break it up to drink. We also suspect you will want to age your pomelo for a special occasion. So, your pomelo is bundled with 30g of loose-leaf pomelo tea for your to enjoy while you contemplate your still-whole pomelo and show it to your friends.
We have a very limited supply as this product can only be made once per year. Pre-orders may be possible for next season, please contact us if you might be interested.
