Single Estate Rare Vintage 1980 Hsinchu Oolong. Rich, earthy and woody flavour with hints of shitake mushroom
This tea was harvested in 1980 and since then, it has been aged in a terra cotta clay pot. The fermentation process has given this tea a distinct earthy flavour similar to some raw pu-erh teas. The liquor is rich and dark red colour with woody aroma notes.

This tea comes from a grower and producer who specialises in vintage teas in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING
From Hsinchu, Taiwan, this tea was harvested in 1980 and has been aged in a terra cotta clay pot since 1980. The fermentation process has given this tea a distinct earthy flavour similar to raw pu-erh teas. This tea was made from the Chin Shin cultivar.
