Compared to other types of teas made in Taiwan, white tea is not common in the market.

ORIGIN

This single-estate white tea comes from one of our farming friends in Ping Ling, Taiwan. They are a Buddhist charity that promotes organic farming in the region and sells their tea. Aunt Tong, a family member of our co-founder, volunteers at this farm to harvest and help make tea in her retirement.

CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING

The tea plucked for this tea are young leaves or buds. White tea undergoes minimal processing: It is plucked, withered and then dried.
