Take a tour of Taiwan's famous teas from single estates. In this tea experience, you will receive seven famous Taiwanese teas including:
ABOUT EACH TEA
ORIGIN
Taiwan is a fascinating country for tea. The country has enjoyed a range of regions, landscapes and growing conditions. The country has also benefited from international influences and waves of immigration who have brought their tea traditions and processing practices to the country.
Taiwan primarily has smaller shareholder farmers who enjoy artisanally growing and producing specialised types of tea. The country has invested heavily in tea related research and several tea research stations exist in the country - these help educate local farmers on new tea processing techniques.
Marulin actively maintains its fourth-generation tea farm in Taiwan which Uncle Lin manages. Through the years our family has developed personal relationships with other farmers, tea producers and tea scientists in the country. We aim to support these producers and encourage a new generation of tea producers and enthusiasts to take over from an ageing and retiring generation.
CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING
The teas in this tea flight experience have each been produced by single-estates in different regions of Taiwan using different processing techniques. You can learn more about these individually unique teas on our website.
TEA BREWING GUIDE
Each of the teas in these flights should be brewed differently. Please consult individual product listings for our brewing recommendations. Please note that each of these teas can be re-brewed several times so we recommend drinking them throughout the day.
If you plan on experiencing a full flight of tea at the same time, we recommend the following order, from start to finish: Bao Zhong, Chin Shin, Four Seasons, Oriental Beauty, Jin Xuan Milk Oolong, Red Ruby #18.

You can compare these teas to our other tea flights, or if there are particular ones you enjoy, try other teas of the same type, cultivar or region.
