A one-of-a-kind handmade and wood-fired teapot perfect for a tea master.
This handmade teapot was fired in a wood kiln giving its finish a range of bronze and copper colours. While this could be an attractive display piece, we believe this teapot should be used and its beauty should be shared with others over many cups of tea.
The teapot holds about 220 mL - perfect for one or to share with small tea cups.
This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong's small teapot factory in Yingge, Taiwan. Yingge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.
