One of our favourites, this tea is quite rare in its naturally occurring strong, distinctive apple brandy flavour. With a bit of sweetness and long finish, the tea maker has made this tea to highlight the apple flavour that naturally occurs in Ruby #18 teas. It might be the perfect gift for a tea aficionado or your favourite gentleman.

ORIGIN

Directly sourced from a farmer and processor in Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan. This farmer is currently working to achieve organic certification (and therefore following organic farming and processing techniques).

CULTIVATION AND PROCESSING

Ruby #18 usually has notes of apple, but it takes quite a bit of skill to bring out this flavour as a dominate note. With the talent of a skilled tea technician in Sun Moon Lake, we love the innovative processing techniques he has used in making this tea. The tea is handpicked and farmed organically.

TEA BREWING GUIDE

• To make an optimum tea, we recommend using a glass or porcelain vessel.
• For a 300 ml mug, place about 3g of tea into an infuser and brew with hot water. Each serving can be brewed 3-4 times. Temp of brewing: 70° C. Time: 6-8 min
