The name of this teapot is inspired from the fig tree that Buddha meditated for 49 days to reach enlightenment.

By helping you soothingly brew your tea in small amounts, this fig-shaped teapot will help you enlighten your experience with tea sip by sip.

The red colour of this teapot is a common colour in Buddhist traditions and ceremonies.The colour is the result of the reaction of the minerals in the clay when it is fired in the kiln. Comes in a gift box.

The small teapot holds about 40 mL - perfect for yourself while meditating.It can be used with our optional mini-teacups.

To keep your teapot and lid together, we can optionally add a hand-tied ribbon to the lid of the teapot.

This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong Family's small teapot factory in Yingge, Taiwan. Yingge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.
