Overview

With a lovely round shape, this teapot is made from Taiwanese clay. Short and stout, this teapot can hold its ground like our sumo friends. The nice shade of this teapot comes from the reaction of minerals of the clay when fired in the kiln. Two colours of this teapot are available: Cinnamon Stick or Earth Brown.

The teapot holds about 200 mL - perfect for one or to share with our mini teacup option. Want to make sure your teapot top isn't wrestled away from you? Please select our hand-tied ribbon option to keep your lid in its place.

This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong's small teapot factory in Yingge, Taiwan. Yingge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.
