Sculptor Teapot - Handmade & Wood Fired

A one-of-a-kind handmade and wood-fired teapot with a chiseled texture.

The artist patterned the surface of this handmade teapot giving it the appearance of a sculpture in progress. It was fired in a wood kiln giving it a bronze colour. We believe a creative person will enjoy using and contemplating this teapot.

The teapot holds about 240 mL - perfect for one or to share with small tea cups.

This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong's small teapot factory in Yingge, Taiwan. Yingge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.
